4/7/10 They loft flew and bathed for three hours and a 10 to 12mph breeze and really enjoyed theirselves.
4/6/10 They tore up a cloudless sky for two hours and were called in. The same for tomorrow!!
4/5/10 Loft flew the birds and bathed them yesterday,Easter!! Today the wind is howling so they are inside!!
4/1/10 The wind slowed down early this morning as the cold front moves through. I will loft fly them for two hours, give them a bath and call them in.
Cecil will take them to Preston Nevada the 200 mile station tomorrow and release them at 7 am.Saturday will be a nice day as well and give any late birds a good chance to home. Good Luck!!

3/9/10 The wind is gusting to 40 mph and we have scattered thunder storms so they are in the loft today!!
3/8/10 Cecil took them to Rainbow 70 miles and the clouds caused by last nights rain would not lift. So he will bring them back in the valley to Apex 25 miles and released them 20 at a time. We will take them back to Rainbow tomorrow!!
UPDATE as he was returning to Apex the weather broke and he went back to Rainbow and released starting at 11am.They came very well.

3/6/10 I was planning on going back to Rainbow but weather is forcast. I will try tomorrow.
3/5/10 I took them 70 miles to Rainbow in super weather and some of them made a hard toss of it.
3/4/10 We gave them a day off because the wind is gusting to 40MPH. They are having a bath and R&R. Looks good for tomorrow!!
3/3/10 Went over the mountains for the third time today and they came great.I released them 20 at a time.I will go down the road farther tomorrow.This was the 16th toss.
3/2/10 Went over the mountains for the second time.This is 35 miles.
3/1/10 First day over the mountains at 35 miles.
2-28 Released at 25 miles across town.
2/27/10 Another great toss from the other side of Las Vegas. Cecil reported his groups were out of site in a minute as were mine. We will train there again tomorrow and then hop them over the mountains.Good Luck!!
2/26/10 We trained at the same spots yesterday and Cecil and I took them all the way across Las Vegas this morning. We both had the birds leaving the scene in two minutes and we waited 10 minutes between releases. We will go to our same spots tomorrow and Sunday only because we can't get over the hill because of the traffic that will be going to the Nascar Race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. So Monday is most likely the day for the clock to run for the inventory!! As of now they have been tossed 13 times and know their way around the valley.
2/24/10 Another super toss!! Tomorrow we go 25 miles which is all the way across Las Vegas.At this point we have trained everyday except three days ago because it was raining.If they clear good here two times we go over the mountains,a big test for them!! These birds are perfect in everyway and will come good!!
2/23/10 We have SUPER BIRDS!!! They are leaving without circling and we will have them across Gliter Gulch( Las Vegas!!) to Las Vegas Motor Speed Way on Saturday. Two possibley three tosses there and we will give them the hard toss over the mountains. We will toss them a crate at a time there and I will post the training on the site.
2/22/10 We have trained everyday except today due to rain so they have a day off in the bath pans. They are a very sharp group of birds and Cecil and I are ALL FIRED UP about them.They blast out of the crates a head straight for home. We will be back down the road with them tomorrow.Stay tuned!!
They have had two tosses with the Perigrine Falcons hitting them each day. I will wait until 10am so we are training after the hawks have had breakfast!!I caught the birds that were struck and will see if I can get them back on the team at some point!!I never have had hawk problems like this!!All of the three of us training have been struck!!
We started training today with a mile toss to get them used to the crates.The weather is iffy the next couple days.They will finish the medication program tomorrow 2/9/10 and will be put on a special pro-biotic after that.
Once we start training we go everyday that the wind isn't to strong. As soon as we get the birds across town, 25 miles we will post the toss's here.
